Description

Colonel Trautman contacts Rambo at his retreat in Thailand to accompany him on a dangerous mission in Afghanistan. However, the ex-soldier rejects it to devote himself to his life with the Buddhist monks who have welcomed him. Days later, Agent Griggs informs Rambo that Trautman has been captured by the Soviet occupation forces under the command of the sadistic Colonel Zaysen. John decides to save his friend and travels to Afghanistan where he comes into contact with the mujahideen rebel forces.
