The long-cherished dream of inventor, astronaut and scientist Dr. Reed Richards (Ioan Gruffudd) is very close to coming true. You are at the forefront of a journey into outer space, at the center of a cosmic storm. There, he hopes to reveal the secrets of the genetic codes of human beings for the benefit of humanity. Reed's crew for the mission consists of his best friend, astronaut Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis); by Sue Storm (Jessica Alba), director of genetic research and Reed's former girlfriend; and by Sue's impulsive younger brother, pilot Johnny Storm (Chris Evans). Accompanied by the project's benefactor, Von Doom, the four set out to explore their lives. The mission is uneventful until Reed discovers that there is a miscalculation in the speed at which the storm is approaching. In a few minutes, the threshold of this atmospheric phenomenon is upon them. The space station is engulfed by turbulent clouds of cosmic radiation that change the crew's genome. His DNA is irrevocably altered.... and that is going to be his future. Back on Earth, the effects of the exposure quickly show their first symptoms, giving each of them supernatural powers, becoming The Fantastic Four.
